Meghan Markle makes 'evocative' jewellery choices - 'positively dripping in diamonds' Downlo26
“Meghan’s jewellery style choices are largely acknowledged to be impeccable and they have attracted legions of fans. “She has certainly donned some of the most prized, rare and valuable jewels in the world in her time.
“Meghan Markle has a definite affinity for natural diamonds.

The Duchess is fond of sending out messages through the items she wears, and is keen to commemorate special events and remember those closest to her, and it seems her choices in accessories are so exception. Here we will run down the special, personal meanings behind several of her key jewelry pieces - discovering the fascinating stories and secrets behind them.

The Duchess Of Susexx was presented with a beautiful gold trilogy engagement ring when Prince Harry proposed in November 2017, but just over 18 months later Meghan revealed a significant change to the ring having replaced the yellow gold band with a delicate diamond-studded band.

However, it has now emerged that it was Prince Harry's decision to upgrade the band, and the work was carried out at the same time that he ordered a bespoke eternity ring for his wife as a gift for their first wedding anniversary.

In the new royal biography, Finding Freedom, authors Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand explain: "On May 19, 2019, Harry also surprised his wife of one year with the gift of a ring that he had created with jeweller-to-the-stars Lorraine Schwartz, a favourite of Meghan's.

The trilogy ring boasts a large central diamond flanked on either side by two smaller jewels. The stones were specially selected by the Prince;

The central diamond is from Botswana, where the couple previously vacationed together, and the other two diamonds are from his late mother's personal collection.
After her wedding in 2018, Meghan Markle drove off with Prince Harry to her evening reception at Frogmore House in a blue Jaguar.

The gorgeous happy couple were glowing, but that was in part thanks to Meghan's twinkly bauble: a baby-blue, square Asprey gemstone that glowed from her right ring finger.

Some might say it accessorised her bespoke Stella McCartney satin silk dress  and blue-painted Aquazzura heels, but we think the opposite — the gown helped accessorise the jewel, because it was an important nod to princess Diana.

The gleaming rock shines as bright as  Meghan's engagement ring and wedding band(although, let us just say, they really do make for the perfect important pairing); As photographers zoom in on Meghan's dream of a ring and noted that Princess Diana wore it in 1996.

Meghan was the Royal Patron of Smart Works. It offers both coaching and style sessions for women who are unemployed and trying to assimilate back into the workforce. It can be hard for women who are struggling to afford new office attire that is appropriate for both work and job interviews.

"THAT'S WHAT MAKES PIECES SPECIAL, THE CONNECTION YOU HAVE TO THEM," THE DUCHESS ONCE SAID.
While Diana owned several different timepieces, the classic 18-carat yellow gold Cartier Tank Française was her favorite. The watch, which is for $22,200, was a gift from her father, John, Earl Spencer, on her 21st birthday.

Ironically,  Meghan already owned a cartier watch that she bought for herself to mark her own personal milestone. She told Hello in 2015 that she had "coveted" the luxury timepiece for awhile and bought the steel and gold version of the Cartier classic as a gift to herself when Suits was picked up for a third season. "I totally splurged," she said at the time. The future duchess even engraved the timepiece with this inscription: "To M.M. From M.M."

Fittingly, Meghan also told the magazine, "I plan to give it to my daughter one day. That's what makes pieces special, the connection you have to them."
It is a magnificently opulent creation which saw her positively dripping in diamonds.

Not usually one for recycling items, unlike her sister-in-law according to royal jewelry fans, Meghan chose to re-wear a rather special item from her jewellery box it seems she's worn it before.

The mom to be looked every bit a royal in a white long-sleeve Zimmermann maternity dress and Stephen Jones hat at the official welcome ceremony in Suva, but it was her dainty jewelry that really got fans  attention.

[size=19]Speculation previously suggested that the bracelet was a gift from Prince Harry, but now we've had confirmation from royal reporters on the scene that it's actually a present from a different Prince. Prince Charles. Meghan was first spotted wearing the bracelet the night before her wedding to Prince Harry, and later re-wore the jewellery at Prince Charles' birthday celebrations.

Meghan loves a hidden message, which is presumably why she chose a white shift dress, for her first official outing as part of the royal tour. Meghan also wore the same earing and bracelet that the late Princess Diana wore on the first day of her own royal tour back in 1986. Seen in the above picture.
