Meghan, Duchess of Susexx, has often shown a down-to-earth reaction to mishaps happened during royal engagements, according to a former aide.
Meghan has been described as a "perfectionist" when it comes to her former royal work. However, behind closed doors she also has a "great sense of humour", according to a former royal aide.
This allows her to be able to "giggle" if something goes wrong during an engagement, - an observer of Meghan from 2018 to 2019, said.
One editor of a popular magazine said "She has a great sense of humour.
"On a trip back from an engagement, she will giggle if something went wrong and sees the funny side of things and will often take the mick out of herself and Harry.
"People mainly see her professional side, but it doesn’t mean the fun’s not there."
Meghan has been spotted joking also during royal events.
Behind the scenes of one Prince Harry and Meghan were filmed chatting with some of the attendees.
.A close friend also claimed the Duchess is more than keen on "acting silly" for her three beloved persons.
Speaking about Meghan's more relaxed side, they told the magazine: "She’s brilliant at dressing up and acting silly for her children going into different characters.
"She adores her children, playing and feeding the chickens and gardening with them.
"If she wasn’t who she was, she’d be a professional children's book writer.
Meghan is known to be a keen amateur book writer and has been able to exploit her passion in favour of her patronages and important initiatives.
While she is no longer patron of the Royal National Theatre and the Association of Commonwealth Universities, she still has ties to Smart Works and Mayhew.
She continue to serve as patron of the animal welfare charity Mayhew and Smart Works, an organization, which helps women to succeed at job interviews.
"Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Sussex became Patron of four organisations that reflect the causes and issues with which she has long been associated including the arts, access to education, support for women and animal welfare,"
It also clarified that two of the patronages would be given to her by the Queen and two would be entirely new.
"Her Majesty The Queen has passed on two patronages to The Duchess of Sussex –The National Theatre and The Association of Commonwealth Universities. The Queen has held the roles for 45 and 33 years respectively," reads the statement. "Her Royal Highness will also take on Patronage of two additional charities as part of her official working portfolio – Smart Works and Mayhew." but the association of commonwealth universities has been resigned and meghan is still part of smart works and mayhew.
"I think these four organizations encompass many of the things that Meghan is passionate about," royal reporter Victoria Murphy tells Town & Country. "They also reflect her existing interests and experiences as well."
Murphy also sees the Queen's decision to give Meghan two of her patronages as an "endorsement" of her work thus far.
"The fact that two of Meghan's patronages have been given to her by the Queen so early on in her royal career—especially ones that the Queen has held for a very long time—is definitely an endorsement of Meghan’s work within the family."
"The Duchess has visited Smart Works several times over the last year where she has worked with many women who have benefited from the charity’s support, helping them through coaching and interview preparation," reads the official statement.
Following the news of Meghan's patronage, Juliet Hughes-Hallett, chair and founder of Smart Works, said, “An acknowledged champion of women and their rights worldwide, The Duchess will motivate ever more women to come to our centres and get the job that will transform their lives.”
Meghan's believe in "using the arts to bring people from different backgrounds and communities together."
